Tattoo Removal Reno and Sparks NV
The fastest-growing fad sweeping the country over the last couple of years has been getting a tattoo.
The second fastest growing fad is getting rid of that tattoo.
Many people get tattoos because of a dare, on a whim, a night they don’t remember or just because they thought it would look cool. Years ago tattoos were almost impossible to remove but because of dramatic changes in technology, it is now possible to remove almost completely any tattoo. We’re not here to make judgments on why you got the tattoo in the first place, we’re just here to help you remove it.
Our office location and details are located here. You can also call us at (775) 352-7200 anytime to schedule an appointment. We also offer Interest Free Financing for our services.
What most people don’t think about is what a tattoo will look like 20 to 30 years from now. Many people in their 60′s to 80′s have large dark smudges that don’t resemble anything to the original design. By this time it is almost impossible to remove so it’s important to get them removed as soon as possible. Here is a video of someone right here in our office getting her first treatment:
Our laser tattoo removal process is similar to getting a snap on the skin of a small rubber band. Our process is not entirely pain-free and local anesthetic creams and cold air systems are available if needed. Lasers are an ingenious device that produce light at specific wavelengths. The tattoo ink is subsequently removed or eliminated because the properties of that specific wavelength which passes through the skin and are absorbed by the tattoo ink. This will cause the tattoo ink to dissipate in a small particulate matter which is removed by the ingenious filtering system inside of our body. This process also leaves the surrounding skin almost entirely unharmed.
One of the most important questions that people have is that they want to know is if we can remove the tattoo 100%? The answer is that in most cases, over 95% of the tattoo will be gone. It is important to know that there are lots of different types of tattoo inks used throughout the world and none of them are regulated by any government agency. Since these tattoo inks come from all types of sources and it’s impossible to know which kind was used or how deeply it was applied, it’s impossible to predict the accurate degree of how much a tattoo can be removed. But in most cases we can remove tattoos created by professionals, homemade or amateur ones, plus traumatic and surgical tattoos.
Here are some before and after photos of the laser tattoo removal process:
How many treatments does it take? This is another question that we must give a relative answer to but on average, it takes about 8 to 10 treatments to remove a tattoo. Some require up to 15 sessions to complete. Color tattoos may require more and some amateur tattoos will require less. Each tattoo removal treatment is spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. The number of treatments is determined by the amount of ink, the type of ink and the depth of that ink in the skin.
So you can even remove color tattoos? For the most part yes. Surprisingly dark blue and black inks are the easiest to remove. Purple tattoos and orange ones usually fade fairly well along with Red. The most difficult of all to remove are yellow and light blue and especially Green ones, so they will take additional treatments to produce the desired fading.
The good news is that in most cases and just a few months down the road, we can eliminate a misguided decision from years ago. You will look better, feel better, feel better about yourself and not be embarrassed or have to wear lots of clothing just to cover a moment of indiscretion. You won’t always have to explain the meaning of that tattoo. Your new significant other won’t have to worry anymore about someone else’s name that they have to see every day.
For us, it’s great to see people live their lives again without the pain of the past being carried around with them everywhere they go.

Do you have cream tattoo removal?
We do not use cream for tattoo removal. The tattoo ink is embedded deep in the skin and the cream does not reach deep enough into the skin.
I heard creams can fade a tattoo a little, how true is this? I’m thinking about getting a bad quote tattoo removed or covered with another tattoo, if I can fade it enough I’d like to get it covered instead of removed.
Some of the creams on the market can fade a tattoo a little bit but none of them go deep enough into the skin to remove all of it. Thank you for yuor question.
Will lazer tattoo removal leave behind A scar? Will the area be sensitive to tanning and burning or scarring from sunbathing after the treatments?
Scars are always a possibility, but they are rare and I have not seen any scars from the patients that I have treated. During laser tattoo removal treatments you do not want to be tanning. Once your treatments are done it is ok to be in the sun and you should not be sensitive, Thank you for your question.
